THE DOUBLE-PRISM ATTENUATOR

 

Bose's investigations included measurement of refractive index of a variety of substances. He made dielectric lenses and prisms; examples are visible in Figures 11 and 12.

 

One investigation involved measurement of total internal reflection inside a dielectric prism, and the effect of a small air gap between two identical prisms.
