The house that is still standing on this site has been renovated in the past 10 or 15 years, but looks to have sustained fire damage.
It has brick work commonly seen in buildings built in the early 1900's underneath the melted and missing vinyl siding.
Also there is a large metal barn pushed back into the bush behind the ruins.

 

 

 

 

 

 

This area may not look like it holds as much as it does, but it has about 16 things that are worth checking out:
The old power station ruins, house, and old shed are located on the south side of the lake, but on the north side,
there are 4 intact structures, 5 demolished/collapsed structures, 2 bare foundations, car remains,
and a half fallen down hydro poll with its original transformer still intact. The main heritage home still standing is the old train station house.
