The receiving antenna was used for satellite receiving in the 10 meter Band. The antenna was installed at window on the 7- floor of the twelve store building. Figure 1 shows design of the antenna.

It is a variant of a helical antenna. For the form of the antenna it was used 1.8- m length of plastic tube in 15- mm diameter. Antenna has 34 turns of the wire in 0.6-mm (22-AWG) in each side of the helical dipole. Symmetrical transformer wound on a ferrite ring with sizes (OD x ID x H) 20x10x5- mm. It was used an RF ferrite ring. Each winding contains 2 turns. It was wound the same wire as it was used for the antenna. Antenna was connected to receiver through a 2.5- meter length of 75- Ohm coaxial cable.

The antenna provides very good receiving. Sometimes the receiving signals with the antenna were stronger to 12- dB compare to outdoor antenna for the 10- meter Band.

Sometimes it was possible receive signals only with the low noise antenna and outdoor antenna at the times has received only strong noise.
