Balcony Vertical HF Antenna

The simple balcony vertical HF antenna made with plastic fishing pole. Just along the pole I install copper wire in 7 meter length. Then was installed ATU. It was used home brew tuner. For each band was used one counterpoise in length 0.8 x lambda/4. The length is used because the counterpoises placed on the floor or on the ground. The antenna was used by me in the field and at my vacation in hotel. Figure 1 shows design of the antenna.

At first I install the antenna on the ground and with help commercial antenna tuner LDG Z-100 match the antenna on the HF bands. After antenna was matched, I take data for Land C from the tuner.

Table 1 shows the data for all bands (above the 80- meter, I just lost the data by accident). Base on the data I made ATU. The unit was made in plastic box, I used low power parts because I plan work QRP with the antenna. Antenna was tested in the field and in the hotel and provided good result.
