This is old and reliable book on the subject on the Direction Finding. Printed in 1942 the book was intended for aircraft operators though the book is still interesting for radio amateurs.

Preface to Second Edition

In preparing the second edition of this work, it was left desirable to extend its scope and cover the interests of the aircraft operator.

A chapter in Aircraft D/F has accordingly added, and it is hoped that additional information will enable wireless operators who may work in the air to use their D/F apparatus with confidence.

The reception accorded to the first edition has been more than gratifying, and the author wishes to take this opportunity of thanking all those who have written expressing appreciation.
